Here are pictures from our trip out to the Cider Press at Rolling Acres near St. Jacobs, Ontario. It’s a 20 minute drive from our house and we’ve been there three times this fall. You can read about our trip here.
The press is in the silver building on the left.
The apples are rinsed first.
Up the shoot to the sprayer.
Getting sprayed off.
Down from the chopper to the press.
The pressed cider is sent to a barrel to be measured to determine cost.
Finally it is bagged if you wish, or sent to your bucket.
